Glass: 10mm Toughened Grade A Safety Glass

Hardware: Solid Brass. Finishes include: Polished Chrome, Satin Chrome, 24k Gold. Other finishes upon request.

Door Sizes: Width: 600mm (standard) 650mm maximum.

Height: 2200mm maximum for two hinge installation.

Structural Requirements: 100mm wide solid framing is required for fixing wall mounted doors. Head bracing in the form of a 6mm clear toughened glass panel over the door is required for many situations.

Waterproofing: Shower rose position: All efforts should be made during design to ensure that the shower rose is not positioned directly opposite the screen door (shown above).

Drainage: To ensure that no ponding occurs in the base we recommend that the fall to the waste be a minimum of 15mm over a standard 1000mm base.

Door Seals: We provide a removable brush seal on the door along with a clear fire glazed acrylic half round seal to the threshold on all installations (shown above).

Installation: We recommend contacting us early in the planning of your bathroom so we can assist you with design ideas, and most importantly, ensure your tiling layout and all structural supports are correctly positioned.

(A) Precast Concrete Installation: Design required for new situations where the fence is to be installed into a prepared structural paving slab. *The main contractor should ensure that the footing is designed to suit each independent situation.

(B) Exposed Installation: Common design for installations where the fence is required to be installed over existing paving. *A sound concrete slab is required under the paving.

(C) Preformed Timber Installation: Suitable for underfloor installations in timber decking or balconies. Ensure continuous structural members are installed under the channel.
*All situations should be independently engineered.

(D) Up Stand Post Installation: For uses where clearance is required under the glass for drainage or cleaning. May be adapted for both timber and new or existing paving.

(E) Face Button Bolt Installation: Suitable for fixing to the edge of pool shells, stairwells or balconies where the space is limited or top fixing is not possible.

Preparation required: All fencing and balustrade installations rely on independently engineered sound structural support to be provided by the main contractor. The dimensions and details shown above may vary depending on construction elements and should be used as a guide only.
